  5. Just to point out something that most of you seem to have missed. In the MK parlance of the day, “amaBhulu” referred not to all whites, but instead to the “Boere”, which was the MK term for the SA Police and Defence Force. When they chant “Kill the amaBhulu”, they’re singing a war-song about killing the apartheid-governments police and soldiers.

  6. Is there another Xhosa word for whites then? If someone says niggers should be shot, is it okay if he claims afterwords that he was only talking about “bad” black people? We need a definitive translation here, not some leftist dead level reckoning. I don’t believe that this is the only racist Xhosa song, isn’t there a song called the ax song?
