September 27 marks the anniversary of the publication of the first of the Antifederalist Papers in 1789. The Antifederalists were opponents of ratifying the US Constitution. They feared that it would create an overbearing central government, while the Constitution’s proponents promised that this would not happen. As the losers in that debate, they are largely overlooked today. But that does not mean they were wrong or that we are not indebted to them.

A number of writers have recently written critical articles or reviews about the power of the pro-Israel or Jewish Lobby and its influence on US policy in the Middle East. Most of these writings emphasize the power of the lobby over Congress, the two major parties (especially the Democrats) and the Executive branch. Some even describe the pro-Israel lobbies and the allied Jewish federations, the numerous propaganda institutes described as ‘think tanks’, publications as well as their influence or control over the mass media, from Hollywood, the print media, television to corporate “public” radio. However these critics and analysts paint themselves into a corner, attributing to the Jewish lobby so much power as to virtually incapacitate any effort to counter its influence and change the direction of US policy. The image of a near-omniscient and omnipotent Jewish lobby overlooks its vulnerability and significant issues around which an opposition or counter-hegemonic movement can be organized in the United States.

What I found the most refreshing and positive in this little chat is the fact that both David Duke and Udo Voigt proclaimed their esteem and respect for the Arabs and Islam and their abhorrence for the Iraq war. Udo Voigt went so far as to say that Germans for centuries had very good relations with Arab nations and Turkey. Islam and Arabs aren’t the enemy. I don’t know how many times I’ve said this here and elsewhere, I was even banned recently from AmRen email list by a philosemitic, pro-Zionist yahoo for saying as much. However, this doesn’t mean that the presence of Arabs and Turks is welcome or desirable in Germany or in any other part of Western Europe. Arabs and Turks are foreigners in Germany and must return home. Germany isn’t their home. German governments should work with those countries of emigration with the objective of repatriating (with suitable compensation) their nationals.

Oswald Spengler characterized Duce as “Prussian” in bearing and character. To Spengler you could be “Prussian” without having been born in Prussia. Conversely, you could be born in Prussia but not be “Prussian” in his sense of the word. “Prussianism” in the Spenglerian scheme of things isn’t a purely biological state. “Futurism” evokes the Italian artistic movement of the early 20th century, which was one of the elements that went into Fascism, but was really a kind of machine and speed fetishism. The Manifesto of Futurism scores some good points.

Mike Tintner raises the very legitimate question of how it can be that studies (such as the one by Jackson & Rushton in September 2006 issue of Intelligence) can find men average 4 IQ points higher than women in IQ and yet do poorer than women in school and university marks. The answer is that while IQ is the single best predictor of overall school and workplace performance so far determined, other factors also play an important role and women score higher on some of these other factors. Foremost among these other factors is conscientiousness. In particular, girls and young women do their homework and carry out assignments. With continual assessment increasingly taking the place of integrative “final” exams, womens fortes are paramount and men are almost disadvantaged.

Amalek on those “amazing” Jews

I saw this on MajorityRights and it’s so good that I thought of posting it here as well.

Krauthammer may be whistling to keep his spirits up. The Dr Strangelove of neoconnerie has lately been allowing a note of pessimism about outcomes to creep into his endless columnar demands for gentiles to fight his folks’ wars.

The blend of apprehension and chutzpah shows a little more obviously than usual in this piece. Unarticulated premises:

(1) Jews are the best, the Chosen. Your goodness is measured by how much you help us: that’s what being Righteous Among the Nations is all about.

(2) You gentile American schmucks all loathe us because we’re the best, though most of you pretend not to. You’re jealous of us because we have so much wealth and power, and resentful because you can’t manage without us to make your boring whitebread countries Vibrant. Diverse, Tolerant, Multicultural etc etc. And you just love the results, don’t you? Sure you do.

(3) The only downside of being the best is that sometimes America persecutes us. Oh no, it doesn’t, but we can always dream like what Philip Roth does. If we go on claiming to be actual or potential victims, we will huddle together and not breed ourselves into invisibility. (Good job Gov. Allen’s momma kept schtum or he’d have been forced to go to Harvard and kidnapped by an investment bank lynch mob.)

(4) Although we’re allowed to pat ourselves on the back in public now and again, *you* mustn’t because you might have a concealed knife in your hand. We’re a race when it suits us, an ethnicity, a ‘peoplehood’, a social construction, whatever…. but that’s not for you to go on about, serfs. We guard the protean mystery of our uniqueness: if you get too interested in it, you must be marking us down for a pogrom.

(6) For the same reason, you must just accept that we’re always going to be ‘astonishingly’ successful relative to our numbers and not seek to know why. No explanation founded on genetics, anthropology, sociology or vulgar accusations of mutual assistance will be entertained. They’re all provocative, hateful, reductionist attempts to demystify our Chosenness. Israel Lobby, what Israel Lobby?

Just rejoice at our superiority, be thankful we choose to live among you and keep those reparations coming in and troops flying out!

Abstract:
The role of migration in the Anglo-Saxon transition in England remains controversial. Archaeological and historical evidence is inconclusive, but current estimates of the contribution of migrants to the English population range from less than 10000 to as many as 200000. In contrast, recent studies based on Y-chromosome variation posit a considerably higher contribution to the modern English gene pool (50–100%). Historical evidence suggests that following the Anglo-Saxon transition, people of indigenous ethnicity were at an economic and legal disadvantage compared to those having Anglo-Saxon ethnicity. It is likely that such a disadvantage would lead to differential reproductive success. We examine the effect of differential reproductive success, coupled with limited intermarriage between distinct ethnic groups, on the spread of genetic variants. Computer simulations indicate that a social structure limiting intermarriage between indigenous Britons and an initially small Anglo-Saxon immigrant population provide a plausible explanation of the high degree of Continental male-line ancestry in England.
