Noam Chomsky on Anglo Butchers

Noam Chomsky is one of my favourite authors, I read him compulsively and frequently. He cuts through the cant and hypocrisy like no one else. One of the last books that I’ve read is Imperial Ambitions. Someone who hits the Anglo-American establishment as hard as he does can’t be all bad, n’est-ce pas?

At any rate, the following excerpt made me smile…that’s the Chomsky I know and love, that’s why I keep coming back for more!

Q: What do you make of Prime Minister Tony Blair of Britain being quoted on Nightline on March 31 saying, with regard to the attack on Iraq, “This is not an invastion”?

Tony Blair is a good propaganda agent for the United States. He’s articulate, his sentences hang together, apparently people like the way he looks. He’s following a position that Britain has taken, self-consciously, since the end of the Second World War. During the Second World War, Britain had been the world-dominant power, but the United States was going to become the dominant power after the war. Britain had to make a choice. Was it going to be just another country, or was it going to be what they call a “junior partner” of the United States? It accepted the role of junior partner. And that’s what it’s been since then. Britain has been kicked in the face over and over again in the most disgraceful way, and Blair sits there quietly and says, “We will be the junior partner.” We will bring to the “coaliton” our experience of centuries of brutalizing and murdering foreign people. We’re good at that. We’ve got centuries of experience in what Lloyd George called “bomb[ing] Niggers.” We’ll be the junior partner, and maybe in return we’ll get some privilege. And that’s the British role. It’s disgraceful. [Emphasis added and footnotes omitted.]

But here we have them banning Le Pen’s daughter for ‘racial incitement’, which is the Orwellian term used to stop free speech and free inquiry into the easily debunked ‘holocaust’.

Is there any wonder why this appropriately named “shitty little country” has become a pariah?

They know the ‘holocaust’ cannot stand up to scrutiny.

Staying in Iraq not an option. Many Americans who were among the most eager to invade Iraq now urge that we find a way out. These Americans include not only civilian “strategists” and other “hawks” but also senior military commanders and, perhaps most fervently, combat soldiers. Even some of those Iraqis regarded by our senior officials as the most pro-American are determined now to see American military personnel leave their country. Polls show that as few as 2 percent of Iraqis consider Americans to be liberators. This is the reality of the situation in Iraq. We must acknowledge the Iraqis’ right to ask us to leave, and we should set a firm date by which to do so.

The rise of Asia has only led to a relative decline of the US national economy. At least so far. But for many blue- and white-collar workers, this decline is already absolute because they have less of everything than they used to.

Race does not exist

Last night “Forensic Files” on Court TV had an interesting show about the serial rapist and killer of five white women in Baton Rouge, LA. Two witnesses saw a white man in a white pickup truck near two of the crimes, and 90% of serial killers are white, so the police and FBI were looking for a white guy. But the attacks were very vicious, with 80 stab wounds to one victim (a lot of hate), plus part of one woman’s ear was bitten off. Does that remind you of anything, such as a black heavyweight boxer?

Anyway, a white microbiologist, Dr. Tony Frudakis, said he could analyze the DNA and find out information about the criminal. The cops did not believe him, so they gave him 20 samples to test and he was 100% correct on their races. When he analyzed the “unsub’s” DNA he said it was a black male with 20% American Indian. And he was correct. I wonder how the race deniers explain that? And, did anyone protest the racial stereotyping of white men?

The killer was Derrick Todd Lee, the father of two niglets. All five white women were young, and at least two were graduate students.
