Alternative History: Adolf Hitler has made peace with the Western Powers but fighting continues on the Eastern Front. Joseph Kennedy is President of the United States of America, Charles Lindbergh is American Ambassador in Berlin, and “America First” people are in positions of power in the U.S. Churchill died in exile in Canada and pro-German Britons are ruling over the British Empire. 2. That was from that crap-movie “Fatherland”. Pure Sci-Fi without logic.
With 80% of the Wehrmacht on the East-Front how the hell do they expect that we can launch an invasion of England, considering that all our industrial production was put into the land forces at costs of the Navy? With England filled up to the brim with Yankee-Material and Troops, such an operation would have been a disaster. The fighting on the East-Front would have ended sooner, because Stalin was pragmatic enough not to tie himself to the fate of the Capitalists. With the failure of D-Day Stalin would have made some sort of proposal. He already threatend with leaving the coalition if the West did not open a second front.
The Movie itself made “Germania” look like some communist country. Those ugly skyscrapers and “Bauhaus” Buildings mixed with NS-Neoclassical architecture - WTF?! Impossible. Not to mention those uniforms. Those SS-caps - unreal. Germany getting an A-Bomb in 1965? LOL! We would have had one in 1946/47 for sure! (If not already in 1945). We wouldn’t have needed to invade England. an A-Bomb on London (or the mere threat of it) and Churchill would have been chased out of office.
USA would never have sought peace with us. They were so totally Jew-infested, that they would have nuked us before Japan.
