Police Search for Rapist

ST. CLAIRE SHORES, Mich. - Police are searching for a man
who raped one woman and attempted to rape several others
during the day in the St. Clair Shores area.

Officers said the man walked in front of a woman’s car at 9
Mile Road and Interstate 94 service drive on June 22 in
St. Clair Shores.

When the woman stopped her car so she wouldn’t hit him,
he jumped into the passenger side of the

He pointed a gun at the woman and forced her to drive to
an abandoned house in Detroit and repeatedly raped her,
according to police.

The woman said when she tried to escape, the man beat
her in the face, head and chest.

She said the man even tried to run after her when she was
driving away.

On June 23, around 7 a.m., a woman said a black man jumped
in front of her car. She hit her brakes and he attempted to
get inside the passenger side of the car.

The man offered the woman $50 to give him a ride. When the
woman drove away, the man chased after her on foot.

According to police, on June 23, around 7:15 a.m near Little
Mack Avenue at 12 Mile Road in Roseville, a black man jumped
in front of a different woman, waved his arms like he needed
help.

The woman hit her brakes and the man attempted to get
inside the passenger side of the car. The woman drove away
before the man could get inside the vehicle, police said.

The man is described as a black male, around 5 feet 8 inches
tall, weighs 155 pounds, early to mid-20s with chocolate-
brown corn rows. Police said he also had a tongue piercing
and a goatee.

If you have any information, call 911. Police also urge drivers
to make sure their car doors are locked.
