Ron Paul at the Florida Debate 1-24-08

All of the Republican candidates except Ron Paul believe that the war in Iraq was a good idea, worth the blood and money. If a Republican wins the general election, it will be the greatest miracle since the Mother of God (a.k.a. the Virgin Mary) appeared to three children in Portugal (here).

I watched that debate live on MSNBC. Ron Paul came in second in Louisiana and Nevada. Mainstream conservatives dislike Paul because he’s not a warmonger or religious nut.

Maybe someone like Ron Paul is the best that the U.S. can do. I’ve re-read Michael Levin’s book on race, and he’s essentially advocating libertarian solutions to the race problem in America. Maybe that’s the only thing feasible. At least, you’ll have free speech and free association restored and welfare cut and affirmative action gone. As he puts it, welfare was created by Whites for Whites, and doesn’t work outside a White, homogeneous society.
