I was wondering if you’d be interested in creating another article about British Television, over the last couple of years I’ve noticed a disturbing trend, where Black African Men are portrayed as the “new ideal man” with a white women hanging off his arm & where white men are viewed in most cases as weak & duplicitous, only capable of doing wrong or harming others, recent TV shows & movies have included the new Dr Who, Torchwood, 28 Days Later, Children of Men & Robson Green’s Rocket Man, all feature the same themes, Black Men or Women in strong Leadership Roles with White Partners & white men as Weak, dysfunctional & or Homosexual.

Sometimes this reaches such grotesque proportions it becomes humorous as in the scifi movie ‘Alien VS Predator’. The black female protagonist was hired to lead an expedition to the Antarctic because she’s presumably the best in the world.
