Christopher Hitchens on Freedom of Speech - Parts 1 & 2

I mostly despise the slovenly alcoholic, not least because of his stance on Iraq; however, he’s good on religion. Additionally, I respect the fact that as a Jew he advocates total and absolute freedom of speech, even for “Holocaust-deniers.” Not only should they be allowed to express themselves, he says, but they should be listened to very carefully and given special protection. That’s a radical position in today’s illiberal West. Hitchens is not a fool, he knows that the Holocaust (TM) as alleged is bunk.
