1. Sounds good to me. There have been other reports that there were no gas chambers at Auschwitz and the folks that died died at the end of the war when there wasn’t enough food or they died from typhus. Not only that, the 6 million figure has been scaled done to 1 million or less. And that throughout the whole of occupied Europe and Germany.

3. I’ll explain it - propaganda to make ethnic cleansing of Palestinians justifiable because the jews have suffered so badly.

   The red cross kept extensive records, as did the germans. Famous pictures of mounds of dead prisoners have been proven by record to be those of typhus victims (ie the plague) that swept through many camps.

   That discussion and investigation of the holocaust evidence is a crime in Germany speaks VOLUMES - the truth doesn’t need laws to protect it - so why is there one to prevent people from seeking it?

12. I just watched that video from PBS. Very interesting all those deaths from Typhoid.

    Billy, did you even watch the video from PBS? The whole thing was about the prisoners dieing from typhoid. The only scene with the gas chambers was a shower room.

    And the only most telltale sign that the video is incorrect, it still says Auschwitz lost 4 million people. But then again, why change false history, if it’s old.

    I’m pretty sure the IRC (International Red Cross) only recorded ~120,000 dead, while the plaque at Auschwitz says 1 million.

    At any rate, the point of Friedrich Stelzel’s story is that the actual history is not what we are told, and the point of PBS’s video is that it wasn’t a Jewish Holocaust, it was an international tragedy…

    The Plague can be a real bitch… That’s why it’s called ‘The Plague’.

13. The gas chambers that are currently at Auschwitz were built AFTER the war to help enshrine the Holocaust™ into eveyone’s mind, which in turn helped with the theft of Palestine by the Zionists.

    As for the 4 million that were supposed that have died there, that number has been dropped and now it stands at 1.5 million, yet the Holocaust™ Industry still sells the magical Kabbalah number of six million, the same number the Zionists tried to implant in people’s brains after World War One.

    As for countries that toss people in prison for asking questions about the Holocaust™, why?

    Why is it a sin and against the law in some nations to ask questions about the Holocaust™ ?

    If the hate crime laws that are being bandied about in the US Congress ever become law, then look for US citizens to be tossed in prison for asking simple questions about the Holocaust™.

14. I think it’s funny. I mean I was at Auschwitz a couple of months ago. Not everyone was gassed. There are pictures all over the place of people that had been shot in the head. Not everyone was put in the gas chambers with the cyclone b gas. Mind you that the gas chambers were nothing more than a room with a hole in the ceiling that the gas dropped into. Of course you wouldn’t find much of the camp. The Germans tore it down trying to cover their tracks after the war. I didn’t see any swimming pools while I was there. I did however see a wall where people were lined up for execution. This camp wasn’t only for Jews. Read up on it. This has a lot to do with the Polish people. Poland was to be wiped off of the map according to Hitler. Fuck this guy that says he saw swimming pools. You can go there and you can still smell the stench in the gas chambers in the summer time.

16. Keep in mind that Holocaust revision is classed as Holocaust denial. Jail time for expressing opinion, no matter how unpopular or outlandish, amounts to thought crime. The truth needs no laws to protect it, lies however… An investigation of the Holocaust is long overdue. For example, chemical examination of gas chamber walls for traces of cyanide. The State of Israel was founded because of a European guilt complex over treatment of the Jews and the desire for a Western foothold in Arabia. David Irving’s book “Hitler’s War” is still considered the authoritative work in its field. Austria really shot itself in the foot by imprisoning him. Using Nazi methods to fight Holocaust denial; small wonder Austria is suffering an identity crisis.
    And now NuLabour want to make Holocaust denial/revision a crime in Britain. Fortunately NL will be out of office before this can be achieved, but a disturbing indicator nevertheless. Seldom praise the US, a country that fails to uphold its own values, but in this instance freedom of speech prevents the enactment of Holocaust denial laws. And rightly so.

17. My mother was in Auschwitz in mid December 1944. She was among a small group of women fleeing West in front of the advancing Red Army. The women came across the small Town and its giant FABRIK, as she calls it, on a freezing late afternoon and asked the SS if they could spend the night. Among this group were about six Nuns, the SS were very pleased to see them so close to Christmas.

    To this day she says the SS Guards were ‘polite old gentlemen’, she recalls them as old men there were NO young men there. She remembers sleeping on a wooden floor near a bakery and swapping a Vienna loaf for a fine pair of leather shoes with an inmate.

    When I asked her if she remembers the gas Chambers where Jews claim millions of their number were done in, she doesn’t laugh, she SPITS and says something profane in Russian. She was there with 20 or so companions for about three days and none of the women saw anything out of the ordinary whatsoever.

    The ‘gas-chambers’ would not work if you dumped a can of the slow working pesticide into a hole onto a cold floor below, apart from the fact there are drains in the floor, not to mention obvious marks on the floors and walls where the internal walls used to be, including plumbing fixtures. This is the post-war mock-up at Auschwitz I, that the curator (liar Piper) admitted the holes were put into the roof ‘after the war’. The ridiculous chimney leading to the bodge up oven room is not even attached to the building! It’s a total and utter embarrassment.

    The Problem of the Gas Chambers

    The Tribunal shall not require proof of facts of common knowledge, but shall take judicial notice thereof.

    Article 21 of the Statutes

    No one, not even those individuals who regard the Third Reich with nostalgia, denies the existence of concentration camps under Hitler. Everyone also recognizes that certain camps were equipped with crematory ovens: instead of being buried, the corpses were reduced to ashes. The repeated occurrence of epidemics made cremation necessary, especially for those who had died of typhus (see the photos of mass graves at Belsen et cetera). What is disputed by numerous French, British, American, and German authors is the existence of “extermination camps.” This expression is used by historiographers to refer to those camps that were supposed to have been equipped with “gas chambers.” Allegedly, these “gas chambers” were different from American gas chambers in that they were used to kill hundreds of men, women, and children at a time. Because the victims were chosen because of their race or religion, this is referred to as “genocide.” The poison employed in this “genocide” is said to have been Zyklon B (a pesticide based upon prussic or hydrocyanic acid).

    Those who contest the “genocide” claim and the existence of the “gas chambers” are called Revisionists. Their argument runs approximately as follows:

    It suffices for both of these problems (”genocide” and “gas chambers”) to apply the customary methods of historical criticism, to see that one is confronted here by two myths that are inseparable. The criminal intentions that are attributed to Hitler have never been proven. As far as the weapon for this crime is concerned, no one has actually seen it. Here one is confronted by an extraordinarily successful war and hate propaganda campaign. History is full of frauds of this kind, beginning with their religious fables of sorcery and witchcraft. What distinguishes our times from earlier epochs is the frightening power of the media and the propaganda ad nauseam which is made for what must be called “the hoax of the twentieth century.” Let him beware who, after 30 years, gets the idea to expose this hoax. He will learn depending upon the situation through imprisonment, fines, assaults and insults. His career can be shattered or endangered. He will be denounced as a Nazi. Either his thesis will be ignored, or else it will be distorted. No country will be more unrelentingly ruthless toward him than Germany. [1]

    Today however, the silence is about to be broken about those men who have dared to write responsibly that Hitler’s “gas chambers” (including those of Auschwitz and Majdanek) are only a historical lie. That is a great advance.

    But what insults and distortions an Exterminationist historian such as Georges Wellers allowed himself when, more than ten years after Paul Rassinier’s death, he decided to expose the minutest part of the arguments of this ex-inmate of a concentration camp who had had the courage to reveal the lie of the “gas chambers” in his writings!

    The best way in which a historian may inform himself regarding the actual claims of the disciples of Paul Rassinier is to refer to the work of American professor Dr. Arthur R. Butz entitled The Hoax of the Twentieth Century. [2]

    For my part, I take the liberty of making only a few observations specifically for serious research-oriented historians.

    I call their attention to a paradox. Although the “gas chambers” are, in the view of the official historians, absolutely central to a picture of the Nazi concentration camp system (and furthermore, as proof for the totally perverse and devilish character of the German concentration camps in comparison to all previous and more recent concentration camps it ought to be meticulously shown how the Nazis proceeded to invent, construct, and operate these fearsome human slaughterhouses), one must be thoroughly astonished that in the impressive bibliography of the concentration camp literature there is not a single book, not a single brochure, not a single article, on the “gas chambers” themselves. One must not be misled by some very promising titles; rather one must ascertain the contents of these writings for oneself. I regard as “official historical writing” those publications which are written about the concentration camps by institutions or foundations that are partly or wholly financed from public funds, such as, for example, in France, the Comité d’Histoire de la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale (Committee for the History of the Second World War) and the Centre de Documentation Juive Contemporaire (Jewish Contemporary Documentation Center), and in Germany (Munich), the Institut für Zeitgeschichte (Institute for Contemporary History).

    One must wait until page 541 of the thesis by Olga Wormser-Migot on the system of Nazi concentration camps, before one finds a passage about the “gas chambers.” However, for the reader there are still three other surprises:

    1. The passage in question covers only three pages.
    2. It carries the title: “The Problem of the Gas Chambers.”
    3. The “problem” consists of trying to determine whether the “gas chambers” at Ravensbrück (Germany) and Mauthausen (Austria) really existed; the author comes to the conclusion that they did not exist; however she does not examine here the “problem” of the “gas chambers” of Auschwitz or any of the other camps, probably because in her mind they do not present a “problem.” [on page 157 of her book she says that Auschwitz I had no gas chamber.]

    At this point, the reader probably wants to know why an analysis that concludes that “gas chambers” did not exist in certain camps is suddenly discontinued as soon as, for example, Auschwitz is discussed. Why, on one hand, is the critical spirit awakened, and then, on the other hand, is it allowed to collapse into lethargy? After all, as far as the “gas chamber” of Ravensbrück is concerned, we have many points of “evidence” and “undeniable eyewitness accounts,” beginning with repeated and extensive eyewitness accounts by Marie-Claude Vaillant-Couturier or Germaine Tillion.

    It gets even better. Several years after the war, before both British and French tribunals, the camp officials of Ravensbrück (Suhren, Schwarzhuber and Treite) repeatedly confessed to the existence of a “gas chamber” in their camp. They even vaguely described its operation. Eventually, those who did not commit suicide were executed because of this alleged “gas chamber.” The same “confessions” were given prior to their deaths by Ziereis for Mauthausen (Austria) and by Kramer for Struthof-Natzweiler (Alsace).

    Today, one can see the alleged “gas chamber” of Struthof-Natzweiler and in the same place one can also read the unbelievable “confession” of Kramer. This “gas chamber,” which is designated as an “historical monument,” is a complete fraud. The slightest amount of critical spirit will be sufficient to convince oneself that a gassing in this small room, without any sealing whatsoever, would have been a catastrophe for the executioner as well as for the people in the vicinity. In order to make this “gas chamber” (which is guaranteed to be “in its original condition”) believable, someone has gone so for as to clumsily knock a hole into the thin wall with a chisel, and thereby break four tiles. The hole was so arranged that Josef Kramer would have dumped through it the mysterious “salts” (about which he could give no further details and which, when mixed with a little water, killed within one minute!). How could salts and water make such a gas? How could Kramer have prevented the gas from coming back out the hole? How could he see his victims from a hole which would have let him see no more than half the room? How did he ventilate the room before opening the rudimentary door, made from rough-cut lumber? Perhaps one must ask the civil engineering firm in Saint-Michel sur-Meurthe (Vosges), which after the war altered the place which today is presented to visitors “in its original condition”?

    Even long after the war, prelates, university professors, and some ordinary citizens gave eyewitness descriptions regarding the terrible reality of the “gas chambers” of Buchenwald and Dachau. With regard to Buchenwald, the “gas chamber” gradually disappeared from the minds of the people who had previously maintained that there was one in this camp.
    Dachau

    With regard to Dachau, the situation is different. After it had been firmly established for example by His Eminence Bishop Piguet, the bishop of Clermont-Ferrand that the “gas chamber” had been especially useful in gassing Polish priests, [3] eventually the following official explanation came to pass:

    This gas chamber, whose construction had been started in 1942, was still not completed in 1945 when the camp was liberated. No one could have been gassed in it.

    The little room, which visitors are told is a “gas chamber,” is in reality completely harmless and, while all sorts of construction plans are available for “Baracke X” (the crematorium and vicinity), one cannot determine upon what basis or technical explanation one can claim that this structure is an “unfinished gas chamber.”
    Broszat

    No official historical institute has done more than the Institut für Zeitgeschichte in Munich to make the myth of the “gas chambers” believable. Since 1972 its director has been Dr. Martin Broszat. As a member of this Institute since 1955, Dr. Broszat became famous as a result of his (partial!) publication in 1958 of the confessions that Rudolf Höss (former Commandant of Auschwitz) is supposed to have written in a communist prison before he was hanged. However, on 19 August 1960, this historian had to tell his amazed countrymen that there had never been mass gassings in the entire Old Reich (Germany’s 1937 frontiers), but rather, only in a small number of selected places, especially in occupied Poland, including Auschwitz and Birkenau but not Majdanek. This startling news was given in a simple letter to the editor which was published in the weekly magazine Die Zeit (19 August 1960, page 16). The title was quite misleading and restrictive: Keine Vergasung in Dachau (No Gassing at Dachau) instead of Keine Massenvergasung im Altreich (No Mass Gassing in the Old Reich). [4] In order to support this contention, Dr. Broszat provided not the slightest piece of evidence. Today [1978], eighteen years after his letter, neither he nor any of his colleagues has provided the slightest explanation for this affirmation. It would be highly interesting to learn:

    1. How does Dr. Broszat know that “gas chambers” in the Old Reich were frauds?
    2. How does he know that the “gas chambers” in Poland are genuine?
    3. Why do the “proofs,” the “certainties,” and the “eyewitness accounts” concerning the concentration camps in the west suddenly have no value, while the “proofs,” “certainties,” and “eyewitness accounts” concerning the camps in Poland Communist territory still remain true?

    As if by some tacit agreement, not a single recognized historian has raised these questions. How often in the “history of history” has one relied upon the claims of a single historian? [5]
    German Camps in Occupied Poland

    Let us now examine the “gas chambers” in Poland.

    For proof that the “gas chambers” in Belzec or Treblinka really existed, one is asked to rely essentially upon the statement of Kurt Gerstein. This document from a member of the SS, who allegedly committed suicide in 1945 in the prison of Cherche-Midi in Paris, abounds with so many absurdities that in the eyes of historians it has for a long time already been thoroughly discredited. [6] Furthermore, this statement has never been made public, not even in the documents of the Nuremberg tribunal, except in an unusable form (with truncations, falsifications, and rewritings). The actual document has never been available with its absurd appendices (French “draft” or the “supplements” in German).

    Regarding Majdanek, a visit to the actual site is absolutely necessary. It is even more convincing than a visit to Struthof-Natzweiler, if that is possible. Over this question I will publish additional information.

    With regard to Auschwitz and Birkenau, one must rely essentially on the “Memoirs” [7] of Rudolf Höss, which were prepared under the supervision of his Polish captors. At the actual site, one can only find a “reconstructed” room (Auschwitz I) and ruins (Auschwitz II or Birkenau).

    An execution with gas has nothing to do with a suicidal or accidental suffocation. In the case of an execution, the executioner and his team must not be exposed to the slightest danger. For their executions, the Americans employ hydrocyanic acid in a sophisticated way, and that only in a small, hermetically-sealed chamber. Afterwards, the gas is exhausted from the chamber and neutralized.

    For this reason, one must ask how, for example in the case of Auschwitz II or Birkenau, one could bring 2,000 people into a room measuring 210 square meters in area, and then in this highly crowded situation throw in the very strong pesticide Zyklon B, and then immediately after the deaths of the victims let a work crew without any gas masks enter the room in order to take out the bodies which had been thoroughly saturated with cyanide.

    Two documents [8] from the German industrial archives which were registered by the Americans at Nuremberg tell us that the Zyklon B had a strong tendency to adhere to surfaces and could not be removed from an ordinary room with a strong ventilator, but only by natural aeration for almost 24 hours. Additional documents may be found only at the site in the Auschwitz Museum archives, which were never described elsewhere, but which show that this room of 210 square meters, which is today in a dilapidated condition, was only a very simple mortuary, which (in order to protect it against heat) had been located underground, and which was provided with only a single door which served as both an entrance and an exit. [9]

    Concerning the crematoria of Auschwitz, there is just as there is generally for the entire camp an overabundance of documents and invoices down to the last penny. However, concerning the “gas chambers” there is nothing: no contract for construction, not even a study, nor an order for materials, nor a plan, nor an invoice, nor even a photograph. In a hundred war crimes trials, nothing of the sort was ever produced.

    “I was in Auschwitz and I can assure you that there was no ‘gas chamber’ there.” Only seldom does one hear defense witnesses with enough courage to pronounce this statement. They are persecuted in the courts. [10] Still today, everyone in Germany takes the risk that, if they give an eyewitness account in favor of Thies Christophersen (who wrote The Auschwitz Lie), they will be punished for ‘”defaming the memory of the deceased.” [11]

    Immediately after the war, the Germans, the International Red Cross and the Vatican (which was otherwise so expert as to whatever happened in Poland), as well as many others, declared in an embarrassed tone: “The ‘gas chambers’ we knew nothing about them!” Yes but I would put the question this way: “Can one know about things which did not even happen?”

    There was not a single “gas chamber” in even one of the German concentration camps; that is the truth. The nonexistence of “gas chambers” should be regarded as welcome news; to hide this news in the future would be an injustice. Just as there is no attack upon a religion if one portrays “Fatima” as a fraud, the announcement that the “gas chambers” are an historical lie is no attack upon concentration camp survivors. One is merely doing one’s duty being truthful.
    Conclusions

    After 30 years of research, revisionist authors have reached the following conclusions:

    1. The Hitler “gas chambers” never existed.
    2. The “genocide” (or “attempted genocide”) of the Jews never took place. In other words: Hitler never gave an order nor permission that anyone should be killed because of his race or religion.
    3. The alleged “gas chambers” and the alleged “genocide” are one and the same lie.
    4. This lie, which is largely of Zionist origin, has made an enormous political and financial fraud possible, whose principal beneficiary is the state of Israel.
    5. The principal victims of this fraud are the German people (but not the German rulers) and the entire Palestinian people.
    6. The enormous power of the official information services has, thus far, had the effect of ensuring the success of the lie and of censoring the freedom of expression of those who have denounced the lie.
    7. The participants in this lie know that its days are numbered. They distort the purpose and nature of the Revisionist research. They label as “resurgence of Nazism” or as “falsification of history” what is only a thoughtful and justified concern for historical truth.

    1. A letter to Historama, Paris, November 1975, page 10, on the expression “N.N.” Originally, these initials never meant Nacht und Nebel (Night and Fog), but Nomen nescio (Anonymous). ln practice it meant that certain inmates would not be permitted to receive or send mail.
    2. Segments of a letter to Historia, Paris, August 1977, page 132: “The Imposture of Genocide.”
    3. On 29 January 1978 at the Colloque National de Lyon sur Eglises et Chrétiens de France dans la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale (National Convention in Lyon on Churches and Christians of France during the Second World War) an intervention concerning the imposture of the “gas chambers” (see Rivarol, Paris, 16 February 1978, page 5).

    1. Regarding the great number of vicious and insulting articles, there is a study by Hermann Langbein which appeared in Le Monde Juif (The Jewish World), April/June 1975. The title is “Coup d’oeil sur la littérature néo-nazie,” (”A Glimpse at Neo-Nazi Literature”), pages 8-20. Hermann Langbein was an inmate in Auschwitz. He testified at countless trials. He holds an important position in the circles of former concentration camp inmates. One of his most recent works is entitled: Hommes et Femmes à Auschwitz (Men and Women of Auschwitz), Paris, Fayard, 1975, VIII-529 pages (Translated from Menschen in Auschwitz, Vienna, 1974.) Not one of the 30 chapters, not one of the 268 sections of this book is devoted to the “gas chambers”!     The stench in the shower stalls… err… “gas chambers” is most likely due to 70 year old showers that haven’t been used, with mold, mildew, dampness, extraordinary heat during the daytime, etc.

    You may have gone somewhere where something might have happened 60 years ago. But revisionist history allows anyone to show and tell anything when the history is written in stone and you can’t even ask about it.

    And your proof of the ovens is that… the ovens were rebuilt out of original oven parts? Not to be rude or anything… But an oven up until 10 years ago could be built and rebuilt by a child in a day.

    Oh, and I am Canadian. I am currently committing a ‘Thought Crime.’ I might as well continue.

    I could easily go to Fort Henry (built in the 1800s to protect Canada from a US invasion), walk around with a video camera and tell horrible tales of things that could have gone on. I could go to bakery and show how the officers would make man-on-a-spic meals for everyone to feast.

    I could take photos from the WWI where prisoners were put in the old fort, and tell the world that they were all gassed in a deep underground cellar. I could point to an open field near by and say that is where all the bodies were buried. It doesn’t make it real.

    How WWII became a Jewish tragedy is beyond me… 100 million died… Why look only at 6%… which is highly doubtful since they also claimed 6 million died in WWI.

    One of my favourite quotes “2.4 million Jews lived in Europe prior to WWII. 3.8 million applied for Holocaust reparation. Sadly, 6 million had to die.”

    Oh and by the way… simple interesting fact: 80% of Jews are of European decent. Therefore 80% is not Semetic. Anti-Semitism is not anti-Jewish. Anti-Semitism is… anti-semitic. It’s like saying anti-caucaison is anti-Canadian.. It doesn’t make sense!

24. Anyone can watch t.v. Please go and speak with those in that live in Poland. I did. Read Rudoloph Hoss’ book and when he quotes one of his officers saying to new inmates ‘There is only one way out of Auschwitz, through the chimney’. And a swimming pool? Poland? 1940’s? No I meant cyclon b not cyclonE. My bad… Hoss also says “The gassing was carried out in detention cells of block 11. Protected by gas mask, I watched the killing myself. In the crowded cells death came intantaneously the moment the Cyclon B was thrown in. A short, almost smothering cry, and it was all over. During this first experience of gassing people, I did not fully realize what was happeneing, perhaps because I was too impressed by the whole procedure. I have a clearer recollection of the gassing of nine hunred Russians which took place shortly afterwards in the old crematorium, since the use of Block 11 for this purpose caused too much trouble. yada yada yada.

    There are more accounts from other officers at Auschwitz in this book. It is titled KL AUSCHWITZ SEEN BY SS. Old crematoriums don’t exsist anymore, neither does MOST of the camp. It’s hard to prove or disprove something that doesn’t exist anymore but there are the words of those that lived it on both sides of the war.

    Forensic Investigations

    In his 1988 book, Professor Mayer calls for “excavations at the killing sites and in their immediate environs” to determine more about the gas chambers. In fact, such forensic studies have been made. The first was conducted in 1988 by American execution equipment consultant, Fred A. Leuchter, Jr. He carried out an on-site forensic examination of the alleged gas chambers at Auschwitz, Birkenau and Majdanek to determine if they could have been used to kill people as claimed. After a careful study of the alleged killing facilities, Leuchter concluded that the sites were not used, and could not have been used, as homicidal gas chambers. Furthermore, an analysis of samples taken by Leuchter from the walls and floors of the alleged gas chambers showed either no or minuscule traces of cyanide compound, from the active ingredient of Zyklon B, the pesticide allegedly used to murder Jews at Auschwitz.

    A confidential forensic examination (and subsequent report) commissioned by the Auschwitz State Museum and conducted by Institute of Forensic Research in Krakow has confirmed Leuchter’s finding that minimal or no traces of cyanide compound can be found in the sites alleged to have been gas chambers.

    The significance of this is evident when the results of the forensic examination of the alleged homicidal gas chambers are compared with the results of the examination of the Auschwitz disinfestation facilities, where Zyklon B was used to delouse mattresses and clothing. Whereas no or only trace amounts of cyanide were found in the alleged homicidal gas chambers, massive traces of cyanide were found in the walls and floor in the camp’s disinfestation delousing chambers.

    Another forensic study has been carried out by German chemist Germar Rudolf. On the basis of his on-site examination and analysis of samples, the certified chemist and doctoral candidate concluded: “For chemical-technical reasons, the claimed mass gassings with hydrocyanic acid in the alleged ‘gas chambers’ in Auschwitz did not take place … The supposed facilities for mass killing in Auschwitz and Birkenau were not suitable for this purpose …”

    Finally, there is the study of Austrian engineer Walter Lüftl, a respected expert witness in numerous court cases, and former president of Austria’s professional association of engineers. In a 1992 report he called the alleged mass extermination of Jews in gas chambers “technically impossible.”

26. I am in the middle. Like many people, I see the point that scores were killed; probably - it appears by enough eye witness accounts — by some gasing. The other side is that it was probably not near the six million. It appears to me that both sides are so entrenched that they will not move towards the truth, which appears to be somewhat on both sides into the middle. I guess both sides fear that if they give an inch, the other wil say “Ah ha!” we were totally right, where in reality both are partly right and wrong.
    We must remember however that only love can bring us together.

27. The fact that in some countries it is a CRIME to dismiss the official holocaust story is in and of itself proof enough that things are not quite what we have been led to believe.

    The 6 million figure is still being used by many people to this day. But apply some very simple math and you will realise that the logistics behind said number make it a sheer impossible one. Assume, for easy maths’ sake, that jews have been killed in concentration camp gas chambers for six years (40-45). That comes down to an average of: 114 per hour. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, 6 years in a row. Think about that for a minute. Really think about it.

30. No, Dave. Revisionists do not say genocide is acceptable. Even suggesting that is ludicrous beyond belief.
    But the nazi camps were not extermination camps; they were slave labour camps. Why kill the people who are doing your work for you for hardly any money at all? People died inside these camps, absolutely. However, not because they were put in gas chambers, but because of contagious diseases and starvation. Remember that the allied forces bombed much of Germany’s infrastructure, making the delivery of food and medicine to the camps hard.

    People have got to understand that revisionism is a vital part of any science, history or otherwise. If there had never been any revisionists, we would still be fearing to sail too far lest we fall of the edge of the world.

    Holocaust revisionists are not saying that the nazis were good guys. They are not saying that Hitler was a swell guy. They are not saying that there were no concentration camps. All they are saying is that the ‘official’ story leaves much to be doubted and deserves a second look.

    This volume of the memoirs of Rudolf Höß is flawed by the editor’s refusal to objectively present the material. Death Dealer was assembled for the sole purpose of refuting or combating holocaust revisionism. Truth is suffocated in this type of presentation. The errors and implausiblilites of Höß’ memoirs are often whitewashed in an effort to render this document as sacrosanct.

    Steven Paskuly, writes in his “Introduction,”

    “There are fanatical groups in the United States, France, and even Australia who call themselves ‘The Revisionist Historians.’ They actually propose that Höß never wrote these documents - that they are a fraud. They also state that even if the documents were written by Höß, they were obviously done under duress from the ‘Communist authorities’ in Poland. The ‘research’ and the conclusions of these ‘historians’ are absolute rubbish.” (p.21)

    Paskuly concludes his introduction by writing,

    “…no serious argument can be made that Höß concocted the gassing stories to help the Allies find the major Nazi war criminals guilty, as some claim.” (p.22)

    Paskuly has joined forces for this presentation with Andrew Pollinger. Pollinger, a Dachau survivor, admits in his “Translator’s Note,”

    “…Steve [Paskuly] and I tried to find a modern American equivalent to the Nazi jargon used by Höß in order to fulfill our main purpose: to present Höß’ words and thoughts in a readable form that today’s young Americans could easily understand. This was a labor of love to help refute the claim that these horrors did not really happen.” (p. 17)

    The degree to which Höß’ words were altered for sake of indoctrination of American youth can not easily be ascertained.

    The team is rounded out by Primo Levi, author of, The Periodic Table, and other volumes of Holocaust lore who provides the foreward. Levi offers the following reason for publishing a work such as that of Rudolf Höß. His answer is but another attack on revisionism.

    “Several years ago, an insidious trend was launched when people began affirming that the number of victims of the Nazi era was far less than stated by ‘official history,’ and that no poison gas was used to kill human beings in the camps. In regard to both these points Rudolph Höß’ testimony is complete and explicit, nor would he have formulated it in such a precise and articulate manner, and with so many details confirmed by survivors and by material evidence, if he had been acting under coercion, as the ‘revisionists’ allege.” (p.8)

    As we shall see, although “survivors” may have confirmed many of Höß’ statements, objective historical inquiry renders many of Höß’ details invalid.

    The memoirs themselves are an extremely valuable document. Paskuly refers to them as “perhaps the most important document attesting to the Holocaust, because they are the only candid, detailed, and essentially honest description of the plan of mass annihilation from a high-ranking SS officer intimately involved in the carrying out of Hitler’s and Himmler’s plan.” (p.11) Included in this volume are 16 pages of pictures. Unfortunately some of these are not really relevant. One example of this is the inclusion of a picture of the crematorium from the Stuffhof camp. Paskuly also chooses to throw in an Epilogue as well as three lengthy Appendixes which feature, for one thing, the Wannsee Conference Minutes. Unfortunately, Paskuly has chosen not to include Höß’ Nuremberg affadavit or his statements made at the Nuremberg trials. These would clearly have rounded out this volume on Höß.

    The exclusion of these documents is all the more strange and irritating because of the inclusion of the unrelated Wannsee Conference minutes. The fact that the Nuremberg affadavit makes various absurd or contradictory claims appears to be its reason for exclusion.

    Paskuly’s agenda become evident based on his commentary regarding Höß’ comments in the section of the memoirs entitled, “The Final Solution of the Jewish Question in Concentration Camp Auschwitz.” Höß writes that in the “summer of 1941″ he is called to Himmler’s office in Berlin. There Himmler tells him,

    “The Fuehrer has ordered the Final Solution of the Jewish question. We the SS have to carry out this order. The existing extermination sites in the East are not in a position to carry out these intended operations on a large scale. I have, therefore, chosen Auschwitz for this purpose.”

    Paskuly chooses to believe that,

    “Himmler was most likely referring to the special squads (called Einsatzgruppen) who were killing civilians in the Soviet Union, since there were no exterminaton centers in the East…” (p.27)

    Therefore, Paskuly argues that Höß is correct when he writes of 1941. Paskuly neglects to mention Höß’ statement at Nuremberg which sheds some light on this issue.

    The Höß Nuremberg affadavit reads as follows:

    “I was ordered to establish extermination facilities at Auschwitz in June 1941. At that time, there were already in the General Government three other extermination camps: Belzek, Treblinka, and Wolzek…I visited Treblinka to find out how they carried out their exterminations. The camp commandant at Treblinka told me that he had liquidated 80,000 in the course of one-half year.”

    Höß speaks of three other extermination sites in existence during the summer of 1941. The problem with Höß’ affadavit and memoirs is that the camp at Belzek only began to function in March of 1942. Treblinka, which Höß claims was in operation for at least six months by June of 1941, only began operations on July 23, 1942. As for the Wolzek camp, it never existed at all.

    Paskuly claims to have refuted the thesis that Höß’ affadavit and memoirs are in error over this important date. He mentions, however, only the writings of Richard Brietman which argue that Höß’ meeting with Himmler could not have been earlier than summer of 1942. (Architect of Genocide, Knopf, New York, 1991). Paskuly actually declares, “Breitman is wrong.” (p.27) Paskuly chooses to neglect all the other authors who have similarly pointed out this important error. J.C. Pressac for one, explained that the “June 1941″ date is impossible. Pressac writes,

    “The evidence that we have studied suggests that Höß retrospectively confused 1941 with 1942.” (Y. Gutman, M. Berenbaum, Anatomy of the Auschwitz Death Camp, AADC, Indiana University Press, Bloomington and Indianapolis, 1994, p. 213. )

    This error of Höß is troubling since as I pointed out in my article, “Auschwitz: A Re-evaluation,”

    “These dates should have been clear in Höß’ mind. Hitler launched Operation Barbarossa, the attack on the U.S.S.R. in June of 1941. This was one of the most important dates in the entire history of the Third Reich. Similarly, Höß was promoted to lieutenant-colonel in July 1942. Each of these events should have stood out in Höß’ memory.”

    Paskuly makes totally unreasonable assertions regarding Höß’ infamous comment about 2.5 million Jews transferred to Auschwitz for extermination. Paskuly actually chooses to argue that the real number of victims was higher. He writes:

    “The Soviet government has stated that the total number of victims is near four million, while the Auschwitz Museum, undre the auspices of the Polish government, officially states the four million figure. Museum historians privately estimate that there were between 2.8 and 3.5 million victims.” (p.38)

    The assertion is made to convince readers that the actual number of victims exceeds Höß’ 2.5 million number. This is clearly untrue. Even considering that the first edition of Death Dealer was published in 1992, Franciszek Piper who heads the department of historical research at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum undertook a study of the number of victims in 1980. The first draft was completed in 1986. Piper’s findings were first published in Yad Vashem Studies in 1991. Piper writes that the number of Jewish deportees to Auschwitz was 1,095,190. (AADC p. 68) Piper’s total estimate of the number of victims ranges from 1.1 million to 1.5 million. (AADC p. 71-2).

    Other authors including Gerald Reitlinger wrote as early as 1952 that,

    “…the figure of four millions has become ridiculous. Unfortunately Russian arithmetic has blurred the stark and inescapable facts that little less than a million human beings perished in Auschwitz.” (The Final Solution, Jason Aronson, Inc., Northvale, N.J., 1987, p. 460)

    Falsifications and oversights like these verify the extremely biased presentation in this volume.

    Other obvious falsifications in the memoirs include Höß’ comments regarding Adolf Eichmann. Höß writes of the Sonderkommando,

    “These Jews were housed separately from the other prisoners and, according to Eichmann’s orders, they themselves were to be killed after each large extermination action.” (p.31)

    Here Paskuly half-heartedly acknowledges the impossibility of Eichmann having issued such orders. He notes,

    “It is unlikely that Eichmann could or would give such orders since he was not in charge of the camps. The camp Kommandants were not answerable to Eichmann, but only to Himmler and Camp Administration and Supply. Eichmann stated to Israeli interrogators after his capture that he was never in a position to give such orders. He claimed that Höß lied in his memoirs about his role in the Final Solution.” (p.31)

    Paskuly does, interestingly, admit to the fact of Höß’ torture by the Allies while in captivity. Paskuly writes,

    “Just after his capture in 1946, the British Security Police were able to extract a statement from Höß by beating him and filling him with liquor.” (p.20)

    Höß himself writes,

    “During the first interrogation [the British Field Security Police] beat me to obtain evidence. I do not know what was in the transcript, or what I said, even though I signed it, because they gave me liquor and beat me with a whip. It was too much even for me to bear.” (p.179)

    Höß continues to describe the events after being turned over to the Polish authorities:

    “If the prosecutors office had not intervened, they would have finished me off, most of all mentally and emotionally. They almost had me at the breaking point. This was not feeble hysteria. I was almost totally finished at that time, and I can stand quite a bit. Life had often enough been hard for me, but the psychological torture of these three satans was too much.” (p.181)

    Even with these entries, Paskuly refuses to consider that Höß’ testimony or his memoirs may be more what the interrogators wanted to hear rather than complete truth. In an American court of law these statements would not be admissable. (For a more complete analysis of the torture of Höß, please see: Robert Faurisson “How the British Obtained the Confessions of Rudolf Höß,” The Journal of Historical Review, JHR 7(4) (1986) pp. 389-403).

    The memoirs are very interesting in and of themselves. The reader finds Höß swaggering back and forth between descriptions of terrible atrocities to more reasonable, but totally contradictory passages, such as:

    “I firmly maintain that the death rate of most of the Jews was caused not only by the unaccustomed work, or the inadequate food, or the overcrowded living conditions and all the other unpleasantness and poor conditions of the camp, but mainly and most importantly because of their psychological condition. The death rate of the Jews was not much lower in other places of work in other camps under much more favorable conditions.” (p. 142-43)

    Similarly Höß writes:

    “…I was never cruel, nor did I let myself get carried away to the point of mistreating prisoners. A great deal happened in Auschwitz presumably in my name, on my direction, on my orders, about which I neither knew, nor would have tolerated, nor approved of.” (p.184)

    Paskuly, not unlike the revisionists, recognizes that passages such as these are very difficult to reconcile with the more frequently quoted passages. While these passages have caused a number of revisionist authors to wonder if the more horrific lines were inserted by another author, (See Wilhelm Staeglich, Auschwitz: A Judge looks at the Evidence, Institute for Historical Review, USA , 1990, pp. 196-216). Paskuly finds it necessary to comment,

    “Höß fails to recall that hundreds of thousands of Jews were gassed in the chambers or simply executed. He also fails to mention that the work system was designed to work prisoners to death.” (p.143)

    The reader should note that the memoirs were written during the short period of time from October 1946 to April 1947.

    Paskuly does address the question of forgery by noting that he carefully reviewed the actual handwritten documents. He describes the handwritten pages which were written in pencil in detail in his introduction. Unfortunately Paskuly has chosen not to include any of the original German text nor photos or reproductions of any of the handwritten pages. This omission is all the more strange by the inclusion of photos of 2 pages of the Wannsee Conference minutes and three pages of letters written by Höß! It is also of interest to note that Martin Broszat in his 1961 version of the memoirs, Kommandant in Auschwitz did reproduce the first 2 pages but was criticized because the pages shown were written in ink rather than pencil as all agree the memoirs were written.

    Paskuly has provided a service by including the final letters of Rudolf Höß. Here in a personal letter to his wife and child he writes:

    “Most of the terrible and horrible things that took place [at Auschwitz] I learned only during this investigation and during the trial itself. I cannot describe how I was deceived, how my directives were twisted, and all the things they had carried out supposedly under my orders. I certainly hope that the guilty will not escape justice.” (p.189)

    This is strangely at odds with the more widely quoted statements from Höß’ memoirs and at Nuremberg.

    Höß’ writings are important documents on the history of the Holocaust. It is unfortunate that the editors of this particular volume refused to give this material a more objective presentation. As with most exterminationist productions, the volume is flawed by the editor’s imposition of his pre-established beliefs and personal convictions. An objective academic-style analysis of the complete writings and testimony of Rudolph Höß has yet to be compiled. Death Dealer could have, and should have been this volume, instead it is merely another attempt to support a monolithic statue whose feet are made of clay.

35. You can look at old pictures of Andersonville, (the Confederate Prison camp) and see the same walking skeletons. Typhus victims, Epidemic typhus (also called “Jail Fever”, “Hospital Fever”, “Ship fever”, “Famine fever”, “Petechial Fever”, and “louse-borne typhus. The allies bombed the food supplies and camps themselves, then blame the Germans for the starvation their disruption caused. The same people firebombed innocent civilans in Dresden, Hamburg and Tokyo, and test nuked Hiroshima to measure the weapons effect on a civilian target. They are giving the Iraqi’s the same treatment.

    Fred, perhaps I may give you some info on this. Hans Schneider, please correct me, if I state anything wrong.

    The Rheinwiesen was a huge POW camp after the end of the WW2, where the Americans kept millions of German soldiers under extremely inhuman conditions (no housing, nothing except bare ground, which in no time turned to deep mud, no food, no water) in essence tried to exterminate them by “natural” causes. Sometimes the dead where just bulldozed over, and if a few were still alive, well tough luck. The exact number of dead is unknown, but one can suspect that it was several hundredthousend. I believe some of this is documented in the book “Other Losses” by James Baque, a Canadian, who, if I remember correctly put the losses to close to a million (I am not sure whether this was just for the Rheinwiesen, or all including other ones addded up).

    The “German” after-war authorities hushed it up completely. No monument, no mention in history books, nothing whatsoever. A few years ago some people wanted to do some historical research in the place (including digging up some of the suspected burial places), but where naturally strictly forbidden to do so.

40. My father in law was in a similar camp after the end of WW2 in the north of Germany, run by the British, as that was their zone. Conditions there were not as bad, but nevertheless at some point he had been close to starvation. It was not, that there was a lack of food, it was deliberate policy. Once some German women from the vicinity had cooked a big kettle of stew and wanted to bring it to the POWs. The guards would not let them do so and poured the stew outside the fencing onto the ground.

41. 123, thank you very much for that explanation, comrade! After reading Hans Schneider’s letter I suspected that was the meaning of Rheinwiesen, but wasn’t sure.

    The Allies were by far the biggest war criminals, and committed by far the most and worst atrocities and crimes against humanity, in that war and the five or so years following the unconditional surrender.
