Diversity Strikes Again: British Airways takes beef off the menu to avoid offending Hindus

For decades the national dish has been a staple meal on the national carrier.

But now British Airways has taken beef off the menu for economy passengers amid concerns about its “religious restrictions”.

  1. The UK Government should immediately apologize to Indians for the British Raj-era banning of such Hindu customs as Thugee (ritual murder committed to propitiate the Goddess Kali) and Sutee (the burning of widows on their husbands’ funeral pyre).
