    The rabidly Zionist wing of Evangelicalism is politically negligible. At most they provide tourism dollars to the Israelis. It has nothing comparable to the AIPAC-AJC axis. The media likes it because it enjoys mocking Christians, whom it sees as a threat, and because it distracts the masses from the real Israel lobby.

    If they are politically negligible, they wouldn’t be so assiduously courted by Republican candidates (and by the Jewish lobby).
