New research refutes myth of pure Scandinavian race

What does it mean to be genetically “pure”? What a straw man. Note the obvious and weird political speechifying from Linea (We’re all Africans!) Melchior. You’d think that she’s a communications rep. for the immigrationist lobby and not an impartial, apolitical scientist. But like Charles Murray noted years ago: “When it comes to race science is corrupt.”

Interesting but likely to be the exception, a trading community or some such. Rural agricultural communities would be expected to be populated by much less diverse local populations in the main just as they are today.

“All of our ancestors, no matter when they arrived have contributed to our history and the development of our lifestyle,” explains Linea Melchior. “Indeed, Danish identity is more a definition of where one is physically located and lives today than a question of our past history - since we’re all originally african in origin. That we ended up in Europe was accidental, which is in itself remarkable”.

  1. Well, the nordic racial type that dominates that area isn’t indigenous to that part of the world, it wandered there from eastern and central europe ( http://white-history.com/hwr5_files/flood4.jpg ).

The people buried there are not necessarily the ancestors of your average Dane. That is like saying that, in 2000 years in the future, some scientist digging up a the remains of a Negro corpse coming to the conclusion that that Negro MUST be related to the whites as as well.

This is really shoddy research that is jumping to conclusions that generally contradict well-established anthropology for a purely political purpose (to subvert racial and ethnic identity).

This is remarkably absurd. Assuming we take the “Out of Africa” theory as fact for the sake of argument, this still does not change the fact that there are different races who developed different traits/characteristics as a result of geographic separation and adaptation to new environments. To purposefully ignore history is to ignore important cultural and genetic development. To say that your average Dane has no real ethnic identity and is mixed with all sorts of racial groups, is of course, wrong.

  2. Oh, and one last point:

How come, if the Iron Age Danes were so diverse, that that diversity is not reflected in the genetic heritage of present-Day Danes (immigrants, of course aside)?

Good points. What was her point besides giving some sort of “we’re all Africans and immigrants” political speech? It’s amazing how political the academia in the West is on the issue of race and immigration. It just boggles the mind how much dishonestly there is.

  4. The out of Africa theory is a dirty 19th century lie. It was originally intended to portray Africans as a primitive inferior race, and Europeans as a modern refined race. Little did the proponents of such a theory realise its consequences for Europeans in the 21st century.
