The Board of Education for a College English project, I stumble across a photo of African Americans captioned, "Niggers doing what they do best: Looting." This photo is NOT A PORTRAIT OF BLACK AMERICA My mother did not name me "nigger" nor do I want to be ridiculed by the color of my skin. There is good and bad in all races; black, white, hispanic, etc. If people were not so fixated on color, but unity as a people, in that we all bleed, cry, breathe, and one day too will die- if people could get past differences, maybe WE as a people can MAKE a difference. May God have mercy on the souls of those who inflict pain and hate, the person who calls those who share the color of my skin "niggers"- because that is not what we are.
