VIENNA, Austria - Far-right Gov. Joerg Haider has set up a facility in the remote mountains of southern Austria to handle asylum seekers suspected as criminals, saying they need to be isolated to protect the people in the area.
Haider gained international prominence in 1999 when the Freedom Party, which he then headed, took 27 percent of the vote in Austria’s parliamentary elections. The party’s subsequent inclusion in the government led to months of European Union sanctions over Haider’s statements, which were seen as anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic and sympathetic to Adolf Hitler’s labor policies. [The E.U. is an illiberal and totalitarian monster where everyone must chant the same Left-liberal pieties. Sanctions and other intimidatory measures will be applied in case your little country deviates from E.U. Diktats! Like all bullies, the E.U. particularly likes to take on and push around small entities like Austria that have the gall to show some resistance to mass immigration/invasion and consequent racial displacement favored by E.U.'s apparatchiks.]
Haider is now governor of Carinthia province and his regional government set up the facility for asylum seekers, which sits in a secluded pasture in the mountains of southern Austria at an altitude of about 3,900 feet.
“With this security precaution, we are protecting the Carinthian population,” Haider told a news conference Monday. He said the number of criminal asylum seekers was on the rise.
Haider has a history of taking a strong stand on asylum seekers, saying criminals among them drain the country’s resources and should be expelled.
Human rights experts ["experts" at what exactly? Can someone think of a more empty title?] expressed concern about the holding facility on Tuesday.
“The whole thing sounds strongly like banishment,” [Oh no! We wouldn't want to banish criminals, now would we?] said Heinz Patzelt, head of Austria’s chapter of Amnesty International. “There’s no place for that in a modern system with a rule of law.” [However, letting criminals loose to rape, murder, rob, pillage, and otherwise terrorize the indigenous population would undoubtedly be very "modern" and in accordance with the "rule of law."]
Haider’s spokesman Stefan Petzner said no one’s rights were being violated.
“It’s a perfectly normal establishment far away from civilization in a secluded area so they can’t get up to anything,” said Petzner. “You shouldn’t think of this as a prison surrounded by barbed wire.” [We wouldn't want to put criminals in prison!]
He said that the asylum seekers were allowed to move about freely on the premises but were being monitored.
The holding center in a former children’s home is only for asylum seekers suspected as criminals. But Petzner said conviction was not a “mandatory prerequisite” for being sent there.
The building has the capacity to hold 50 but currently houses five men and has been in use for about a week. Petzner confirmed media reports saying the five came from Georgia, Kazakhstan and Gambia. He did say some in the group had been convicted, but did not say of what.
Petzner said residents would be “under constant observation so that no criminal acts can be committed.”
Austria’s government largely leaves it up to individual provinces how to handle asylum seekers. Many around the country live independently or in other facilities where they are free to come and go. Carinthia currently has about 900 asylum seekers in total.
Roland Schoenbauer, officer-in-charge of the Vienna branch of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, [God, what the Hell is he doing in Austria? There are 195 countries in the world, how many of them can match Austria's human rights record? The last thing Austrians need is some U.N. bureaucrat to lecture them on what they may do and not do.] There said his office had asked Carinthian authorities to provide details about the conditions in the facility and those working there.
Schoenbauer also criticized the practice — by Haider and others — of associating asylum seekers with crime.
“The repeated and constant linkage of asylum seekers with crime by leading politicians is extremely worrying as it leads to a general criminalization of asylum seekers in public and undermines the integration of those who get refugee status,” he said. [What if Austrians don't want to be integrated by anyone?]
Haider now heads another far-right party, the Alliance for the Future of Austria, and he has toned down his rhetoric but still retains a strong following.
In last month’s elections, Haider’s party received 10.7 percent and the far-right Freedom Party gained 17.5 percent of the vote. The combined results — 28.2 percent — placed the parties on nearly equal footing with the Social Democrats, who came in first place with 29.3 percent.

I like Haider, but I don’t trust him! I remember a while back he supported the entry of the Turkey to the EU! He always changes his views, he’s become part of the system.
An excellent Idea. Pull out of the EU, cut ties to the UN and the Great Satan AKA the United States, and dismantle NATO. Then, seek ties with Russia and the East, the middle East (trade and military only)as a counterweight against evil Oceania and it’s haven for criminals, Israel.
Once this new alliance is cemented, you then begin the wholsale removal of all aliens to their respective countries, and the jews to Israel and points South.
While this is going on, a new armed revolutionary force begins the merger of North America, pinning down the ZOG and the jews here from disrupting what’s going on in Europe.
Once we have overthrown both the Canadian and US Occupied governments, we can begin to ethnically cleanse the land of all aliens, including the few jews left.
Then, we will aim our captured nukes and their bombers at what’s left of the EU and give them exactly 50 days to remove every non-white filth from Europe. If they refuse, London will get the first megatons, as her sins reach high into heaven.
After that, All egalitarians and social marxists will be placed in reeducation camps, where failure to comply with the new thinking will result in termination.

Actually some jew-site called Strat-for (I have seen their analysts on faux news) has been warning that the Father-land may be about to sign a military alliance with Mother Russia! Joining forces with the SCO to battle ZOG is a good idea!

PS I got a good laugh a few years ago when Russia and Gernmany built that pipeline AROUND Poland and ZOG-polland was complaining since they couldn’t tax the gas! LOL!!!
If Haider supports Turkey’s entry to the European Union it could only be because he believes the admission of what would become the EU’s largest, poorest and most emigrant - prone state would put so much strain on finance and member relations that the whole sorry liberal edifice would collapse like the sandcastle it surely is.

There is almost an epidemic among (the extremely few) pro-German people in responsible or prominent positions, who all come to death by varying causes, but inevitably not natural ones, be it car crashes, plane crashes, parachutes that don’t open, suicides, assasinations. Strangely none of this ever happens to the vast majority of anti-Germans, even so statistically due to their much larger number the odds being perhaps 10000:1.
