Jobs are key to stable family life, say Tories

The phenomenon of the bong-smoking, shiftless, petty criminal chav lout, who goes around impregnating multiple women in every council estate in Britain, is one of the reasons why British national life has declined to the extent it has. The recent spate of knife-crime in Britain, which has attracted so much attention from the media, is caused by young men of that type.

Really, these people are copying their parents’ behaviour - because it’s more than likely that their dads behaved in exactly the same manner. So the daughters of these men will end up becoming chav Vicki Pollard mums themselves, and their sons will end up becoming chavscum males - thus passing it on, from generation to generation…

In Australia, it’s the same, if not worse. We have 770,000 people on the single parent’s pension.

The solution is not to vote Tory, but to sterilise these men while they’re teenagers - any young man wearing a baseball cap and gold chains becomes a candidate for a compulsory vasectomy. Great way of avoiding excessive population growth as well.

Gore Vidal on Jew-Tool Buckley

March 22, 2008 on 8:14 am | Friedrich Braun | Conservatism , Jewish Diaspora , Obituaries , The American Right , The Jewish Question | No Comments | Email This Post | Print this Post

I remember reading in the early ’90s Buckley’s pathetic screed in his outfit the National Review on the alleged anti-Semitism of the Old Right; particularly, Buchanan, Sobran, etc. in which he even accused his own late father of being an anti-Semite…and I asked myself the question: what kind of a man would hurl such accusations at his own late father in order to further ingratiate himself with American Jewry? Buckley was a little despicable worm. A first-rate boot-licker and a spineless coward.

I can recall that day in the 1930s when a “news” (sic) magazine appeared in Washington, D.C.; it was called Newsweek: meant to be a counterbalance to Time Magazine’s uncontrollable malice. In due course the two became sadly alike as Vincent Astor morphed into Henry Luce: Was it something in the water? I once asked Henry Luce why he called Time a news magazine when it was simply Uncle Harry’s means of venting his rage (this was 1960 or so) at liberals, and “degenerate art” like the plays of Tennessee Williams—he had no answer. At Newsweek Vincent Astor was far too stupid to answer any such complaint. Now here we are in the Newsweek of 2008, and it’s still lousy. There have been a few decent writers in between that were less nutty than today’s Newsweek hacks.

Hayek: A Critique

January 9, 2008 on 8:57 pm | Friedrich Braun | Conservatism , Libertarianism , Political Philosophy | No Comments | Email This Post | Print this Post

I read this article on Hayek a few months ago in its French original and it’s the best critical analysis of laissez faire, free market capitalism and its principle European guru, Friedrich von Hayek, that I’ve ever read. Unrestrained, savage capitalism is ultimately destructive of all that traditionalists and conservatives pretend to cherish and value, so it’s ironic to usually see them championing what they should normally oppose with with all the strength at their disposal. Alain de Benoist’s piece is quite lengthy so you might want to print it out. Enjoy!

The “Club de l’Horloge” held its 5th annual meeting October 20-22 1989 in Nice, on “Liberalism at the People’s Service.” The general tone was “national liberal” conservative. According to the Club’s president, Henry de Lesquen, “there can be no authentic liberal society as long as the concept of man emerging from the Western, humanist and Christian tradition has not prevailed.”[1] The objective was to contrapose two liberal traditions: Locke’s vs. Hume’s and Burke’s, i.e., a “bad liberalism” leading to libertarian or anarcho-capitalist movements, and a “good liberalism” concerned with preserving tradition and thus reconcilable with a “nationalist” perspective. This politically opportunistic approach legitimates itself by appealing to a long gone author: Friedrich A. (von) Hayek. While the distinction[2] has recently been somewhat mitigated, “national liberalism” (or conservative liberalism) constantly reappears in the history of ideas.[3] A good way to approach this problem is to begin with Hayek’s works.

Race consciousness for nonwhites and race blindness for whites

Alex writes:

Further to your observation that the Science Museum in London shows its typical visitors as being all nonwhite, even though only 10 percent of the population of Britain is nonwhite, the effort to represent Britain as a “vibrant and growing multi-cultural community” goes way beyond the racial headcounting which takes place at stately homes and cultural organizations. Even utility bills are accompanied by publicity material in which the “typical” customer is a black or Asian family.

LA replies:

And try to imagine your typical conservative/ neoconservative criticizing something like that. In order to see the badness and offensiveness of falsely portraying a historically 100 percent and currently 90 percent white country as nonwhite, a person would have to have some racial consciousness of himself and his country as white.

The left is race conscious and is pushing nonwhiteness. But the conservatives, upholding race blindness as their highest ideal, are incapable of opposing the left’s race-conscious promotion of nonwhiteness. A conservatism devoid of race consciousness cannot be a serious conservatism.

You don’t have to be a total idiot to be a Republican, but it helps.

When Joe Farah says he’s been studying the Middle East for thirty years, what he really means is that he’s been reading lunatic Christian Zionist fantasies like Hal Lindsey’s “Late Great Planet Earth” since that particular cult began to proliferate in the 1970s.

Why Ron Paul is disqualified.

Catastrophe Still Awaits
by Paul Craig Roberts

“The real difficulty in changing any enterprise lies not in developing new ideas, but in escaping from the old ones.”

~ John Maynard Keynes

A ray of realism appeared in the confirmation hearings for Secretary of Defense nominee Robert Gates before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Gates himself said that the US was not winning in Iraq, a statement with which everyone agreed except the White House.

Bush Is No Conservative
by Paul Craig Roberts

The conservative movement in the United States has been stamped out, not by liberals but by neoconservatives. Conservative philanthropic foundations, conservative print media, and conservative think tanks have been taken over by neoconservatives, who have exiled real conservatives to voicelessness and joblessness.

Moeller van den Bruck

200.jpg

A couple of weeks ago I finished an excellent book of political philosophy written by the German author Moeller van den Bruck and entitled Germany’s Third Empire and published in 1922. I’ve also read some reviews of his work where he’s described as a “National Bolshevik” which is patently absurd. As a matter of fact, I don’t remember reading a philosophical work that was more National Socialist in tone and spirit than Germany’s Third Empire, including Mein Kampf. Moreover, this was apparently the feeling of Adolf Hitler as well, since upon meeting Moeller van den Bruck he told him that Germany’s Third Empire was a National Socialist work; and Hitler had a signed copy in his bunker where he committed suicide. His politics were those of a German revolutionary conservative…incidentally, the German historian Ernst Nolte in his trilogy on the history of fascism describes National Socialism as revolutionary conservatism.

Here’s a flavour of his style from Germany’s Third Empire:

[Marx] was a Jew, a stranger in Europe who nevertheless dared to meddle in the affairs of European peoples. He was not intimately in touch with their history; their past was not his past, and the traditions which had determined their present, were not his. He had not lived through the centuries with them, his feeling were different, his thoughts were different. Marx is only comprehensible through his Jewish origins. It is no accident that he displays Mosaic, Maccabean traits, traits of the Talmud – and the Ghetto…In all his writing there is not a one word of love for men. Against a background of sinister passion there flame through his words the fires of hate, retaliation and revenge…Marx’s message was international, therefore it was able to mislead Europe and set Europe by the ears. He addressed his message to the proletariat because he thought that amongst them national distinctions were non-existent. Jew that he was, national feeling was incomprehensible to him; rationalist that he was, national feeling was for him out of date. He ignored the upper strata of Europe because he did not belong to them and had no clue to the values that they had created through the centuries and had handed on as a precious heritage to their children, a heritage in which he and his forefathers had no share. He felt his affinity with the proletariat. He bade them to abjure any national feeling they had had and learn to feel themselves a class apart. It did not occur to him that perhaps national socialism might be a condition precedent of universal socialism; that men can only live if their nations live also.
