This is the story of educational romanticism in elementary and secondary schools —its rise, its etiology, and, we have reason to hope, its approaching demise.

Educational romanticism consists of the belief that just about all children who are not doing well in school have the potential to do much better. Low Grades, Bad Behavior? Siblings May Be To Blame

Here’s the real story: On average, adolescents living with half- or stepsiblings have lower grades and more school-related behavior problems, and these problems may not improve over time, according to Florida State University Assistant Professor of Sociology Kathryn Harker Tillman.

“These findings imply that family formation patterns that bring together children who have different sets of biological parents may not be in the best interests of the children involved,” Tillman said. “Yet one-half of all American stepfamilies include children from previous relationships of both partners, and the majority of parents in stepfamilies go on to have additional children together.”

In the latest study on the effects of popular videos such as the “Baby Einstein” and “Brainy Baby” series, researchers find that these products may be doing more harm than good. And they may actually delay language development in toddlers.

The ADL has fucking power

One of the magazines to which I subscribe is Free Inquiry, a little secular humanist magazine (although I’m a secularist and not a secular humanist, but that’s for another time…) and I read a review in the latest issue of With God on Our Side: One Man’s War Against an Evangelical Coup in America’s Military by aggressive Jew (is there a different sort?) Michael L. Weinstein and Davin Seay. The book essentially details “anti-Semitism” at the Air Force Academy that the author and his son had to face. Amidst the over-familiar lachrymal Jewish whining of interlopers who’ve invaded places and surroundings where they obviously don’t belong and where they should never have been admitted to begin with, one passage in particular got my attention:

One guy with the name of Weinstein was given special attention, including some attention that surely flew in the face of the vaunted idea of unit cohesion [and the lesson learned is? You can either have unit cohesion or you can have Jews]. In his first year, Mikey was constantly called religious epithets. Then he started receiving anonymous notes calling him a “fucking Jew” and a “Christ killer.” To emphasize the point, the notes were decorated with swastikas.

To get around that part of the old saying that ends “but words will never hurt me,” someone resorted to the sticks and stones as well. Mikey was twice waylaid, knocked unconscious, and beaten. On one of those occasions, he was even thrown down a flight of stairs.

After all that, he was called into the Office of Special Investigation and accused of writing the threatening letters to himself. Discipline failed him at that point. He lost it and did something that he kept secret for thirty years. He coldcocked the OSI officer and fled the room, frightened to death.

Mikey was certain that he would be thrown out of the Air Force. He called his father, who was himself a graduate of the Naval Academy and who had served in the armed forces for twenty nine years. Weinsten isn’t quite sure what transpired after that, but he was surreptitiously interviewed by a member of the Anti-Defamtion League. From what little he could piece together, he learned that someone from the ADL warned academy officials that if they harmed one hair on his head, Mikey’s story would be aired in the New York Times. Furthermore, they promised that they would get Barry Goldwater, at that time a U.S. senator, involved. Goldwater had Air Force clout. He was a Reserve brigadier general.

After the ADL intervened, the harassment and attacks ceased. Nobody was charged. One wonders how the guilty got the word without being identified or, if they were identified, why they weren’t charged. [This story smells really bad to me.]

Weinstein never found out, and he was glad to let that part of his past remain a secret. I can understand why. Hitting an officer is one of the worst things an enlisted person or cadet can possibly do. Respect for and obedience to officers is a linchpin of military discipline. Few violations could weigh more heavily on the conscience of an aspiring officer [here the reviewer wrongly assumes that Jews are normal people with a conscience].

Let’s summarize the facts, a Jew says that he’s being harassed (he says that it’s because he’s Jewish, but who knows…maybe his fellow students just couldn’t stand him for a bunch of other reasons…or maybe he really did make it all up, it wouldn’t be the first Jewish hoax of this nature) at the Air Force Academy, the OSI officer suspects that the Jew might be lying and asks him whether he wrote those anti-Semitic notes to himself. At this point, the Jew punches the officer and takes off. He calls his father who in turn calls the ADL. The ADL shows up at the Air Force Academy and intimidates and threatens all the spineless officers at the institution. Not only is the Jew not charged with any crime, but he’s allowed to remain and finish his studies as if nothing happened!

What can one say to this type of incredible special privilege repeatedly offered to Jewry in our cowed, frightened (of Jewry) societies? The power of organized Jewry always leaves one in total awe. Having served in the Armed Forces (not American), I can tell you that physically assaulting a superior officer is the quickest way to get a bullet in one’s head…unless you have the good fortune of being an impudent Jew, that is. Unbelievable.
