Two Claim Asylum

Interesting incident developing. Two Englishmen, Simon Sheppard and Steven Whittle from Leeds, Yorkshire are being held in an immigration jail at Los Angeles International Airport where they are claiming political asylum. They are on the run from U.K. authorities where they were convicted of Holocaust denial.

On June 19, 2008, section 61 of the Brussels criminal court found Siegfried Verbeke and me guilty of “disputing crimes against humanity”, sentencing us to a year’s imprisonment and ordering us to pay 25,000 euros in fines, damages and various costs… Moreover, it ordered the immediate arrest of Siegfried Verbeke and perhaps of myself as well (a friend of ours who attended the hearing says no, but the press reports state the opposite and we haven’t been able to get an answer from the Clerk’s Office).

Unsurprisingly, the court had rejected all our arguments, notably the one invoking article 150 of the Belgian Constitution to request a trial in the Court of Assizes, thus before a jury.

It’s plain to see that in the last three years anti-revisionist oppression has greatly worsened. The times when revisionist activists received suspended sentences are over: today, apart from the huge fines, actual imprisonment is always decided. I think especially of Sylvia Stolz, Ernst Zündel and Germar Rudolf, heroic people now languishing in German jails.

I think also of Georges Theil in France, of Gaston-Armand Amaudruz, René-Louis Berclaz and Jürgen Graf for Switzerland.

Historical revisionism belongs to no-one. Its findings are the fruit of traditional methods of inquiry where scientific expertise assists in the appraisal of testimonies and in documentary research. They will be obvious to any honest individual, whether on the political left or right, believer or atheist…

But it goes without saying that its implications extend well beyond the historical scope of its outset. The stakes involved, gigantic ones, are political and even theological. If some refuse to see this – because of blindness, cowardice or mistaken strategy – , our adversaries, at their end, have understood quite well. They know that a sudden bursting through of the historical truth about the period 1914-1946 would call into question the world order founded at Nuremberg in 1945-1946.

This is why, in the face of people whom they constantly present as a small sect of cranks denying the obvious, they have special laws passed in Europe and resolutions adopted at the UN. The flagrant discrepancy between their contemptuous talk, on the one hand, and their actions, on the other hand, gives them the lie. To paraphrase the French wartime orator Philippe Henriot, I’ll say: “When a man can think of no other way but imprisonment to rid himself of a verbal opponent, it’s because he has no arguments. When a man is reduced to making up stupid lies, it’s because the truth is against him.”

The way ahead, therefore, is all laid out for us: we must continue to repeat the truth, the whole truth, including the truth about what’s at stake in this struggle. Far from being merely a sterile quarrel between devotees of the past cut off from present-day realities, the fight for historical truth is, on the contrary, the continuation, on the intellectual level, of the war whose armed phase ended in 1945 with the defeat of the Axis forces. And it’s clear that this conflict, having begun not on September 3, 1939 but on January 30, 1933, is the modern form of the eternal struggle between Light and Darkness. In the 20th century, National Socialist Germany embodied – doubtless imperfectly but successfully all the same – the very last attempt to return to a well-ordered society, that is, a society respecting the natural order.

This is the reason why, even after the 3rd Reich was completely crushed militarily, the war continued, and has continued up to today. Our opponents in this never-ending fight have a weapon of mass destruction: the alleged “Holocaust”. Since 1945, this lie has prevented any dispassionate debate on National Socialism and, more generally, on societies that respect natural order. “We know where that led! …” is how people constantly respond to those who, against the “Rights of Man” and their natural offspring: the unleashing of all selfish inclinations, dare speak of order, the Common Good, wholesomeness, moral standards, safeguarding the genetic heritage, the birth rate, rights of kinship …

Against all the cowards with their claims of prudence, concern with efficiency, realism and whatever else; against all the pretentious twits whose lives are nothing but a series of intervals between assorted betrayals, we should repeat Christ’s own teaching: “let your Yes be Yes, and your No be No, for all else comes of evil.” No, the German homicidal gas chambers never existed. Yes, “the Holocaust” is a myth. For my part, I add: yes, Hitler embodied the hope of Europe in the face of the ruinous ideals of 1789; yes, we must take up the best of what National Socialism comprised in order finally to surpass it and forge a doctrine that will be able to save our Old Continent.

Some will condemn my actions for the fact that I have seven children. They are wrong: if I act as I do, it’s first of all for my children, to ensure a better future for them. However, our civilisation will not be saved by any sparing of efforts in the most vital struggles, which are (as is only logical) also the most dangerous, for when engaged they threaten the very worst for the opponent, and so provoke his most violent reactions. But, as Chesnelong said: “When evil is the most daring, good must be the most courageous.”

Procès de Teramo - Jour 1

On se souvient que, le 18 mai 2007, il y a donc un peu plus d’un an, le professeur Faurisson devait donner une conférence à l’Université de Teramo, en Italie; il avait été invité par le professeur Claudio Moffa, directeur d’un programme de maîtrise en études moyen-orientales. L’hystérie qui avait entouré l’annonce de cette conférence avait été telle que le président de l’université avait trouvé une solution simple: il avait tout bonnement fermé le campus correspondant. Le Pr Moffa avait alors convoqué la presse devant un hôtel proche et le Pr Faurisson avait pu s’exprimer quelques minutes devant des journalistes. This is the fourth week that you have alluded to my work, and you ought to allow me some right of reply. You report that I’m deemed to be “antisemitic” on account of comments I’ve made about certain WWII gas chambers (JC, April 23). Your correspondent Mr Aaronovitch also averred that I was advocating “extreme Holocaust denial”.

I’m drawing a conclusion from two chemical studies by Fred Leuchter and Germar Rudolf (1988 and 1991), which suggest that no mass cyanide gassing could have taken place in the Auschwitz chambers because the residual cyanide just isn’t there. Whereas it is present at high levels in the delousing chamber walls. I hope and believe that I’m not in any way antisemitic or neo-Nazi, as people are now telling me. I’m just looking critically, as a science historian, at the evidence for certain chambers having been used in conjunction with Zyklon-B insecticide in the war.

It is true that I had an opportunity to present this matter on Iranian TV, but I’d be happy to argue it anywhere else.

I wouldn’t mind having an apology for calling me a racist. I’m not doubting that this period of history was the most terrible in the collective memory of the Jewish people in which vast numbers of them died and have no objection to this being called “the Holocaust”.

Voilà quatre semaines que vous parlez de mon travail et vous devriez
m’accorder au moins un droit de réponse. Vous rapportez que je suis
considéré comme “antisémite” en raison des commentaires que j’ai faits sur
certaines chambres à gaz de la 2e guerre mondiale (”JC” du 23 avril). Votre
correspondant, Mr Aaronovitch, a également affirmé que je militais pour une
“négation extrême de l’Holocauste”.

Je tire mes conclusions de deux études chimiques, celles de Fred Leuchter
et celle de Germar Rudolf (1988 et 1991), qui suggèrent qu’il n’a pas pu
exister de gazages massifs à l’acide cyanhydrique dans les chambres à gaz
d’Auschwitz puisqu’on n’en trouve précisément pas de traces. Alors qu’on en
trouve en grande quantité dans les murs des chambres de désinfection.

J’espère, et je crois, que je ne suis nullement antisémite ni néo-nazi,
comme on me le dit aujourd’hui. Je ne fais qu’apporter un regard critique,
en tant qu’historien scientifique, sur les indices concernant l’utilisation,
pendant la guerre, de certaines chambres conjointement avec du Zyklon-B.
Il est exact que l’occasion m’a été donnée de traiter de cette affaire à
la télévision iranienne, mais c’est volontiers que j’en traiterais n’importe
où ailleurs.

J’accepterais volontiers qu’on me présente des excuses pour m’avoir
qualifié de raciste. Je ne mets pas en doute que cette période de l’histoire
a été la plus terrible de la mémoire collective des juifs au cours de
laquelle un grand nombre d’entre eux sont morts et je ne suis pas opposé à
ce qu’on parle de “l’Holocauste”.

Pakistan to Europe: abolish free speech, or else

No longer satisfied with merely running their own respective countries, Muslims want the entire world to obey their obscurantist instructions. The odds are that the E.U. castrated cowards will fold like a cheap tent in front of the Paki thugs. Can you imagine the outrage in Pakistan if some E.U. representatives went there and asked local authorities to stop beheading Christian missionaries? Of course something like that would never happen in our wildest dreams, as the E.U. is petrified of offending the millions of Muslim radicals and suicide bombers now residing in their nations. DIVERSITY IS STRENGHT!

My favourite part of the story is the last two sentences. They fit together perfectly, almost like a Shakespearian rhyming couplet:

…the delegation would also tell the EU that if such acts against Islam are not controlled, more attacks on the EU diplomatic missions abroad could not be ruled out.

Sources said that the delegation would also hold discussions on inter-religious harmony during its meetings with the EU leaders.

Got that? If Western governments don’t censor their press, they should expect more terrorist attacks. And, with that threat as their opening offer, they’re now willing to begin “discussions on inter-religious harmony”.

But just as long as everyone knows what will happen if the West decides to be disharmonious.

I note in passing that the Pakistani delegation isn’t coming to Canada. Why bother? The human rights commissions are already doing what Pakistan wants, prosecuting Islamic fatwas using the resources of the state.

Further practical problems with immigration arise in the area of freedom of speech. For example, in Britain there is a Race Relations Act and under it, people have been jailed for saying things, like blacks are disproportionately involved in crime, which are actually true. But truth is not a defense. The leader of the British National Party has been prosecuted for critical things he said about Islamic immigration in a private meeting—a prosecution conveniently launched on the eve of an election. Obviously this is an abomination. And it would not have come about if the government had not created through immigration policy racial minoritiesto whom the British (completely white until after World War II) were required to “Relate”.

There are similar atrocities in Canada, where the celebrated journalist Mark Steyn is currently running afoul of the quasi- judicial “Human Rights Commissions” . It hasn’t quite happened in the US because of the inconvenient fact of the First Amendment. But that problem is being worked on, with hate speech codes. As a practical matter, public debate is narrowing, as we saw in the reaction to the Ron Paul Letters.

Repressive Intolerance

We have all heard about the situation in the E.U. and Canada. However, I have yet to read why all this is happening. Why have these countries criminalized all criticism of multiculturalism? It’s still somewhat of a puzzle to me.

A select few who see the peril to which their neighbors are oblivious and who proceed to save their community against overwhelming odds, is a familiar literary and cinematic concept. Earlier this month (May 11-12) I had the pleasure of addressing one such real-life group in the capital of Austria, where some sixty activists from 16 European countries and the United States attended a symposium with the self-explanatory title, Counter-Jihad Vienna 2008: Defending Civil Liberties in Europe.

Bonjour, ici à nouveau Dirk Zimmermann qui se réjouit de ce que vous preniez
encore une fois sur votre temps pour m’écouter.

J’en profite pour remercier tous ceux qui se sont hâtés de télécharger de
nouvelles copies de ma première allocution parce qu’ils craignaient qu’elle
ne soit retirée par la censure.

De nombreuses personnes se sont manifestées après la publication de
l’accusation que j’ai établie contre moi-même et plusieurs questions m’ont
été posées sur les vraies raisons de ma démarche. Toutes les questions m’ont
fait plaisir car, comme on le dit dans les séries télévisées enfantines: “Ne
jamais poser de questions c’est avoir l’assurance qu’on restera bête
toute sa vie”.

C’est en effet en posant des questions qu’on finit par acquérir du
savoir, de l’intelligence, un peu de sagesse et quelques vérités. Certes, il
s’agit là de valeurs spirituelles qui ne sont pas recherchées par tous. Il
existe aussi une vision matérialiste des choses de ce monde. Qu’importe au
matérialiste une vérité qui mettrait sa carrière en cause?

En fait on se trouve en présence de deux pôles opposés: idéalisme et
matérialisme ont des couleurs différentes. En portant plainte contre
moi-même j’ai choisi ma couleur. La vérité est pour moi plus importante que
l’attrait des choses matérielles. Et les représentants du système juridique
qui vont avoir à se prononcer à mon sujet devront aussi choisir leur
couleur. Ils auront à décider si vérité et équité ont pour eux l’importance
qu’elle doit avoir pour les représentants d’un système qui se veut de droit.
On verra s’ils acceptent que soient posées des questions sur ce qui est
l’unique tabou de notre époque ou si, au contraire, faisant fi de toute
logique, ils bloquent toute discussion par de faux raisonnements qui
tournent sur eux-mêmes en forme de cercles vicieux.

Mais il faut savoir qu’il y a aussi des juristes qui font tout leur
possible pour ne pas avoir à prendre de décision, et qui donc se refusent à
choisir leur couleur. C’est à ceux-là qu’en conclusion je voudrais
m’adresser avec encore plus de netteté:

Peut-être connaissez-vous Horst Mahler, que l’on tient pour un négateur
de l’Holocauste appartenant à l’extrême droite. On le tient également pour
un avocat avec antécédents judiciaires et n’ayant plus le droit d’exercer sa
profession. Oui, mais jusqu’à ce jour il n’a toujours pas été condamné pour
négation de l’Holocauste bien qu’un grand nombre de procédures aient été ou
sont encore engagées contre lui. Or, pour ces procédures, dont certaines se
rapportent, bien entendu, à des “négations de l’Holocauste”, on a rendu ou
tenté de rendre des non-lieux, le motif invoqué étant la prescription par
suite du dépassement des délais impartis. Pouvez-vous imaginer pareille
chose? On a, d’une part, un délinquant d’opinion qui commet un délit
d’opinion caractérisé, et, d’autre part, un représentant du parquet qui
s’empresse de formuler avec zèle l’acte d’accusation correspondant, après
quoi rien ne se passe pendant des années.

Or, un délinquant doit être puni. Faire en sorte que la justice pénale ne
puisse s’exercer est aussi un délit. Je n’ai donc pu m’empêcher de porter
plainte contre ces juristes qui refusent de sanctionner des délits, ne
serait-ce que pour savoir quelle couleur est la leur.
